Achievements:

Irving Janke was an employee of the Harley-Davidson Motor Company and the first man to win a regional competition aboard a factory-sponsored machine in 1914. That same season he finished third at the Savannah 300, demonstrating that the Milwaukee marque could be competitive at the national level. Janke won the Dodge City 300 in 1916, but has never received as much recognition as the glamorous, full-time, professional racers of the legendary Wrecking Crew.
