Kenny Eggers Kenny Eggers

1950's Class C Racing Champion.

Kenny Eggers was born in San Jose, California, in 1929. He began riding at age 12 and then went to work for local Harley-Davidson dealer Tom Sifton, where he worked until he joined the Army in 1947. Learning to ride with such stars as Larry Headrick and Sam Arena, Eggers became an Expert in 1951 and won a championship at Bay Meadows, then finished second to Bobby Hill at Springfield. In 1954, he won the inaugural road race held at Willow Springs, beating the legendary Ed Kretz. Eggers still enjoys attending events and restoring historic racing motorcycles. He was inducted into the Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 1998.
