Marion Owens Marion Owens

Drag racer.

Marion Owen was born in Oklahoma City in 1940 and began street racing in 1954. One of his first machines was a converted military WLA, complete with a reverse gear for sidecar use. He has become noted for his twin-engine Harley-Davidson, and has won over 10 national championships from various sanctioning organizations. Owens ranks Don Garlitz as his role model in drag racing.
